Do you have a video on how this work? It would seem that the separator wouldn't allow you to get close to the scalp. If there is a method that allows the separated sections to be easily released so that I could get the hair close to the scalp I would be interested in this. Thank you

We don't have a video here - and it does force you to work further down the strand. I'm not sure if there is anything that allows them to be more easily released - I assume you are meaning so you can release them one by one for install... this is a great tool, but it does have its limitations.
