I want to extend my natural dreads but I think 22-25 inches may be too long and I can’t afford as many as I would need..would they look okay if I cut them in half? Or would that totally compromise the look of the dread?

You are going to LOVE these for that! I just did a full install on myself and cut them several inches shorter. Just use a strong comb, and comb the cut part so the end is fluffy again, then dip them into hot water and carefully squeeze just the ends (you don't want to compact too highly on the dreads). This will leave the ends looking flowy again. :) You should be able to get two out of one that way.
