Boil Twist Seal for Synthetic Dreadlocks:

Learn how to seal synthetic dreadlocks with boiling water.

Items Needed:
Heat Resistant Gloves
Dread Form
Pot of Boiling Water
Hooks (optional)

1. Put on heat resistant gloves.
2. Put the dread form over a hook and twist it until you reach the end.
3. Place the entire dread into the pot of boiling water.
4. Pull out the dread and hold it straight until it cools.

    Where did you get heat resistant gloves? I have only been able to find food service heat resistant ones. Thanks! ♡

      I snagged chemical resistant ones from the hardware store - they aren't specifically *heat* resistant from what I recall, but they are super thick rubber - and that does the job of blocking the heat. :)
