I have always been attracted to mohawks. Everything about them screams awesome. I am a punk rock princess at heart and the extreme height and array of colors that you see in mohawks leaves me a bit like a moth to a flame. I definitely suffer from hawk envy. I was recently welcomed to the wonderful world of faux hawks. Once reserved for boys, there is no longer any rules here. It does take a little bit of finesse, but shoulder length hair can be transformed into a rockin' faux hawk. Joico's Spiker Ice is the perfect product to get long lasting spikes. A few strategically placed bobby pins will provide a solid base to enhance your spikage. Distribute Spiker Ice through the hair. Use a flat iron to seal in and create awesome texture and pieciness. Then rock your style all day and night. When you are ready to revert to your everyday self, just wash with a clarifying shampoo and condition. I can now easily release my inner rock star, and then put her back.
