Learn the art of hair extensions and styling first hand.
We offer classes to inidividuals as well as salon teams. Our stylists at Modified Salon are well trained on all popular methods of extensions and can lay out the pro and cons of each. We work with salons to create extension programs for their type of clients and their client's budgets to ensure add-on serivces keep client's coming back for extensions month after month.
We teach in our facility or if it is more convenient, travel can be arranged.
Additionally, you do not need to be licensed to take our classes (though you may need to be licensed to practice this craft - check with your local governing agency).

Each class is custom crafted to fit the individual team’s prior experience and their objectives. Classes contain a lot of information and are is very hands on. We advise bringing cameras, pens and paper.
Our classes generally pay for themselves within the first client.
If you would like to book a class, please let us know as much as you can regarding what you would like to learn. It's ok if you don't know the names of the methods or if you need a broader scope. It's such a huge industry and can be very intimidating.
Cost:
Instruction is $100 per hour or $600 for a full day (8 hours).
Each additional person is $50 per hour/$300 per day (8 hours).
Classes prices do not include supplies (See individual topics for supply lists - generally less than $50 per class)

Melinda Hurt has been in the industry for over a decade specializing in extensions. She owns Doctored Locks, Modified Salon (for extension training and education) and Church of Hair Media (creating videos and literature which promotes safe and responsible extension training for the industry).
