Braiding refers to any hair extension that is held in with decorative braids.  Braiding includes crochet/latch hook methods, braiding and twisting.

 

Hair extension weaving is held in by various sewing methods.  Weaving can employ use of scalp braids (cornrows) as a base, linkies or another method.  Wefts are then sewn onto this base.
